Ronald McDonald House Wins Legislative Cook-Off
State Senator Christine Tartaglione and state Representative Angel Cruz battled to a split decision in their cook-off at Ronald McDonald House in North Philadelphia. Cruz’s roasted ham took top honors among the RMH guests in the platter category, but Tartaglione’s tomato gravy — or “sauce” as some like to call it — won the hearts of the children and their families. RMH hosts pediatric patients from throughout the region and across the country as they receive treatment for serious illnesses at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children and Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
